We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 (New Zealand). If you have a privacy concern, please contact us first so we can investigate and resolve it. You can also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
Information We Collect
We collect minimal personal information. We only require your email address to create an account. We never ask for your name, address, IRD number, or any other personal identifiers.
Email Address: Used for authentication (magic link sign-in) and important account notifications. That's the only personal information we require.
Financial Inputs: Numbers you choose to enter (income, savings, expenses, etc.) to generate your forecast. This is self-reported data, we never connect to your bank accounts, investment accounts, or any external financial services.
Usage Data: Anonymous analytics about how you interact with our platform to help us improve.

Data Security
Your data is encrypted at rest and in transit using industry-standard encryption (AES-256, TLS 1.3). We use Supabase for secure data storage with row-level security policies ensuring your data is only accessible to you. See our Security page for more details.

International Data Transfers
Some of the third-party services we use are based in the United States and other countries outside New Zealand. This means your data may be processed and stored in jurisdictions with different privacy laws than New Zealand. These services include Supabase, Vercel, Stripe, Google Analytics, PostHog, Anthropic, Google Gemini API, and Bunny.net.
We take reasonable steps to ensure that these service providers maintain appropriate security measures and handle your data in accordance with their published privacy policies. By using fidser., you acknowledge that your data may be transferred to and processed in these jurisdictions.

Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020, you can request access to, and correction of, your personal information. We also provide account deletion and data export on request.
